I’ve found my people!
Hey everyone, I’m Donovan.
I’ve been a die-hard Apple fan since I was 12, so when I heard Chris was launching his own community, I jumped in right away.
Right now, my main platforms are Apple Mail, Notes, and Calendar. I’ve tested a variety of tools as they’ve entered the market, but I’ve always come back to Apple’s native apps—thanks to the seamless ecosystem.
I’m planning to stick around for the long haul, especially after Perplexity’s latest update, which now lets me connect my email and calendar to create reminders and events directly through chat or voice.
Have you tried it yet? It’s a beautifully smooth experience.
Anyway, I’m excited to be here. Huge thanks to Chris for creating this space and giving Apple users like me a place to connect!

Welcome, Donovin ! 👋
Love to hear that you’ve been part of the Apple ecosystem for so long and I completely agree, there’s something unmatched about how seamless it all feels when everything clicks together.
I haven’t tried Perplexity at all yet, but now you’ve got me curious. Connecting Mail and Calendar through chat sounds like the perfect bridge for productivity. Can you tell us more?
Super happy to have you here! 🚀
